Bush Libby Found Guilty

I’m sure that everyone has already heard that Libby was found guilty, but I’m posting it anyway.
“I will say there was a tremendous amount of sympathy for Mr. Libby on the jury. It was said a number of times, ‘What are we doing with this guy here? Where’s Rove? Where are these other guys?’ ” Collins said. “I’m not saying we didn’t think Mr. Libby was guilty of the things we found him guilty of. It seemed like he was, as Mr. Wells put it, he was the fall guy.”
I was thinking about the fact that I felt sorry for Libby just the other day when it occurred to me that if Libby isn’t found guilty (which he should have been) then every right wing pundit out there would point to that and call this whole thing a witch hunt. I still feel sorry for Mr. Libby, but that’s not a good enough reason to acquit him. I just wish that the people that made him the “fall guy” would have been on trial.
This is just one more step in the degradation of the Bush administration. So when do you think that the fiscal conservatives will get their party back? Soon I hope.
